Whee.... New on this week!!!! Just came back from RIO camp at Pulau Ubin.......... Missed a lot off things back home... The bed, fan, Internet, food, mosquito-free environment and the one I missed the most is the TOILET!!!
1st day, 110909, I just started to do my last minute packing in the morning... Later 3pm in the afternoon, met up with Maggie, YunTing and Siman at Jurong East MRT, and I was late by 5 mins.. hahaha sorry girls making you all wait... Trained all the way to Tanah Merah to meet up with the rest of the camp mates by 4pm. Upon reaching, we planned and shopped for the ingredients that we want to eat during the camp. After shopping went to the Changi Jetty and ferried to our "Final Destination", LOLs, and taxied to our campsite, though the taxi is a van.... The campsite looks like it was in the 1970s and everything is not so advanced back in SG. Well, I can live with that... The washrooms are roomy and the shower is truely "One-of-a-kind"
Its like every time we went there, we have no mood to pee anymore....... haha but still no choice... instead of auto flushing systems, its manual flushing systems and the floor is freaking unstable... The floor is suspended over ground by metal grills and it looks rusted by past bathing/peeing, so its like very bouncy when you're doing "business"....

2nd day, went to the beach and do clean ups so that the coast wont be so polluted. Finally, lunch actually quite looking forward to it, cause I can get to cook spaghetti~~! hehe.... In the afternoon, went to play some games organised by the camp committees... Walked around the camp to get to the stations. Once again, its dinner time... "Guo tiao with you mian". Then after that theres the talentime... Our group did a skit on surviving a camp with pokemon, b'cos our group was named "Pokémon"... Then after that we had "Don't forget the lyrics", I represented my group and its freaking stressful when you sing ur mind will suddenly go blank, especially its the song that you know very well!!

Last Day!!! We trekked for 3 hours to and around Chek Jawa... Its really a very beautiful and relaxing place to be there... A mangrove by the coastline of Pulau Ubin... Pictures will be uploaded at a later date...
